Sakha

Terms of Use

Last updated: 10 October 2026

The short version

Sakha is an AI companion inspired by the Bhagavad Gita. Krishna in the app is an AI, not a person, a guru or God, and not a replacement for medical, legal, financial or professional help. Use it kindly, and if you are in crisis, call Tele MANAS 14416 or 112.

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and YRAL Tech ("we", "us") for using the Sakha app and website. By signing up or using Sakha, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Sakha.

2. Who can use Sakha

You must be 18 or older, or have the consent of a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms for you. You need a phone number or Google account to sign in, and you're responsible for keeping access to it secure.

3. What Sakha is, and isn't

4. Using Sakha kindly

Please don't:

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

5. Your content

What you write to Sakha stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it as needed to run Sakha for you, as described in the Privacy Policy, including sending it to our AI provider to write replies. We don't sell it or use it for ads.

6. Our content

The Sakha app, its design, characters, text and the selection and presentation of its verse library belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own personal use within the app. The Bhagavad Gita itself belongs to everyone; translations are credited to their translators in the app.

7. Free plan and paid plans

Sakha is free to use with a daily limit on talks with Krishna. We may offer a paid plan in future; its price and terms will be shown in the app before you buy, and buying will be through the app store.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Sakha available, but it may sometimes be down for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. We may change, add or remove features, and may ask you to update the app to keep using it.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using Sakha and delete your account at any time (Profile → Delete account; see Delete your account). We may end or suspend your access if you break these terms or if we stop offering Sakha, and will tell you where we reasonably can.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Sakha is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be error-free or suit your particular needs, and we are not responsible for decisions you make based on its replies. Our total liability to you for any claim about Sakha is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer law that can't be limited.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Mumbai, India, after we've first tried to resolve them with you in good faith.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and tell you in the app before significant changes take effect. Continuing to use Sakha after that means you accept the new terms.
